An AI SEO audit shows you two things at once: how well your website is built for classic search (the technical and on-page fundamentals that still decide rankings) and how often AI assistants actually mention and cite your business when buyers ask questions. Most audits only do the first half. Ours gives you a baseline for both, a short list of the fixes that matter most, and a clear recommendation on which AI SEO package — if any — fits your situation. It is the fastest way to find out whether you have a problem worth spending on before you spend anything.

Why run an AI SEO audit now?

Buyers increasingly research with an AI assistant before — or instead of — a traditional search. If ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity names two competitors and not you, you never enter the shortlist, and you never see the lost lead in your analytics because there was no click to track. At the same time, the classic fundamentals still decide whether you rank at all: if your site can't be crawled, indexed or understood, neither Google's blue links nor its AI Overviews will feature you. An audit tells you which layer is actually holding you back — fundamentals, AI visibility, or both — so your next investment is aimed at the real gap rather than a guess. It also gives you a dated baseline, which is the only honest way to prove that later work moved anything.

What the audit covers

The audit has five parts, delivered as one report.

1) Technical SEO baseline. We check the foundations that let any engine use your site: crawlability and indexability, site architecture and internal linking, Core Web Vitals and page speed, mobile rendering, HTTPS, canonical and redirect hygiene, XML sitemap and robots rules, and whether AI crawlers (GPTBot, Google-Extended, PerplexityBot and similar) are allowed to access your content. Blocked crawlers are a common, invisible reason a business is missing from AI answers.

2) On-page SEO baseline. We review how your key pages are built for the queries that matter: titles and meta descriptions, heading structure, content depth and clarity, keyword and entity coverage, image optimisation, and the structured data (schema.org) that helps engines understand what each page is about.

3) AI-visibility baseline (AEO/GEO). We run a set of real buyer prompts across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity and record where you appear, where you're absent, and where competitors win. This produces your starting mention rate, citation rate, and a share-of-voice score against the competitors you name — the numbers classic SEO audits never measure.

4) Competitor gap analysis. For the same prompt set and the same core keywords, we show which competitors the engines favour, what source types they rely on (their own pages, reviews, directories, community threads, press), and the specific gaps between their footprint and yours.

5) Prioritised fixes + package recommendation. Every finding is ranked by likely impact against effort, so you know what to do first. We close with an honest recommendation: which package fits — Starter, Growth or Enterprise — or whether you should fix a few things yourself and skip a retainer for now.

Exactly what you receive

  • A written AI SEO audit report (not just an automated score): technical findings, on-page findings, and your AI-visibility baseline with the actual prompts used.
  • Your baseline numbers: mention rate, citation rate, and share of voice versus the competitors you named, each dated because AI answers vary by run.
  • A competitor gap summary showing who gets cited and which source types the engines trust in your category.
  • A prioritised fix list tied to real pages and signals, ranked by impact versus effort.
  • A package recommendation with the reasoning behind it — including "do nothing yet" when that is the honest answer.

The process, step by step

  1. You submit the short form (fields listed below). It takes a couple of minutes.
  2. We confirm scope and the exact prompt set and competitors we'll measure against, so nothing is a surprise.
  3. We run the audit — automated checks for the technical and on-page layers, and manual prompt testing across the AI engines for the visibility layer.
  4. We deliver the report and walk you through the three fixes most likely to move you fastest.
  5. You decide — act on the fixes yourself, engage a package, or do nothing. There is no obligation to continue.

Price (confirm before publishing)

(Approve one option.) Option A — Free: the audit is a free lead magnet with no obligation. Option B — $300, credited to your first month: a paid audit priced at $300 (USD), fully credited against your first month if you start any package. A paid audit tends to attract more serious prospects and funds the manual prompt-testing time; a free audit maximises top-of-funnel volume. Pick one before this page goes live.

What happens after you submit

You'll get an email confirming we received the request and the scope we'll measure. We don't start billing anything or sign you up for a recurring service — submitting the form requests a diagnostic, nothing more. If you chose the paid option, we'll confirm payment details before any work begins. Your information is used only to run and deliver your audit; we don't sell it or add you to unrelated lists.

Which fields the form asks

Website URL · business name · your main target market or location · two or three competitors you want to be measured against · primary contact email · (optional) the main products, services or categories you want checked · (optional) whether you operate in more than one language. That's enough to build the prompt set and run every layer of the audit.

Why AI SEO Packages

We compete on method and transparency, not adjectives. We publish exactly what the audit delivers (above), we measure the AI-visibility layer that most SEO audits ignore, and our fix list is ranked by impact so you're never handed a 60-point checklist with no priorities. We'll also tell you when the honest recommendation is to spend nothing with us yet. Compare our approach on the comparison page or jump straight to packages.

Risks & limitations

An audit is a diagnostic, not a result. It shows you where you stand and what to fix; it cannot by itself move your rankings or your AI visibility. AI answers are non-deterministic — they vary by run, user and location — so the visibility baseline is reported as ranges with dates, not a single guaranteed snapshot. We cannot guarantee that fixing the findings will produce a specific ranking, mention rate or number of leads; we can only improve and measure the inputs that make those outcomes more likely.

Evidence & team

[E-E-A-T — fill with real data: AI SEO Packages is led by {{FOUNDER}}, {{X}}+ years in SEO/AI search; add credentials, LinkedIn, photo, and genuine case studies only once measured and permissioned. Do not publish invented results.]

FAQ

Straight answers.

Pricing, timelines, what we can and can’t promise.

A normal SEO audit checks how well your site is built for classic search — crawlability, indexing, page speed, on-page structure and schema — and stops there. An AI SEO audit does all of that and adds a second layer: it measures how often AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity actually mention and cite your business when buyers ask questions in your category. The AI layer is reported as a baseline — your mention rate, citation rate and share of voice against named competitors. Combining both layers matters because the fundamentals decide whether any engine can use your site at all, while the AI-visibility layer decides whether you get named in the answers buyers increasingly rely on before they ever click.
